A fabulous perk of my job is to get to meet so many amazing authors and booksellers and book lovers at panels and events. Some back to school fun has been had this fall.
First stop, Hicklebee’s Children’s Bookstore in San Jose. I LOVE this store. I was on a super fun panel with Henry Lien and Jill Diamond. Here we are with booksellers Suzi Hough and Cathy Ellen Davis (who moderated). Thanks a million, Hicklebee’s!
We even got to sign the wall (along with guest star, Armand Baltazar!) …
… Just like J.K.Rowling!!!!!!!!
Next, to the Barnes and Noble at the Grove in West Hollywood. What a great group of authors! We talked about everything middle grade under the sun and had a awesome time. Thanks to Lennie Rohrbacher for orchestrating our event and to Kalie, bookseller extraordinaire, for moderating.
